I've never seen this discussed here, so thought I'd bring it up:
As far as I can figure, Jehovah's Witnesses no longer teach that black skin is the result of a curse from God. Instead, they seem to teach that Canaan was already dark skinned when his father, Ham, brought the curse of servitude upon their family. Ham, evidently is believed to have had black skin.
In the movie "Noah - He Walked With God", Noah, his wife, and two sons are depicted as white skinned. The third son, Ham, is pictured as a black man. It would seem that Jehovah's Witnesses believe two white people produced the first black person and thus the entire "black race", which just happened to be cursed by God.
Am I reading too much into the movie? I think not, because JWs always boast about how much effort they put into thier productions. Casting a black man as Ham, seems awfuly deliberate... and has disturbig racial implications, I think.
